Gaylord Texan

I have been at the Gaylord Texan for the last three days. Stayed two nights. I was there with 9 other teachers from my school for a reading first institute. 2 and 1/2 days consisting of ten 90 minutes sessions.

First of all, let me say that this place is HUGE! Second, absolutely beautiful. Walking through the atrium you feel as if you are in San Antonio minus the heat. If you can, you must go and enjoy this place.

While there, we enjoyed Cozymel's mexican, P.F. Chang's, dessert from the Cheesecake Factory, and Texan Station inside the hotel. The Glass Cactus was so much fun! And the blue hawaiians weren't bad either! We had an awesome time together and learned a lot of great things to use in our classroom.
