This Place is a Zoo!

I am finally getting around to posting pics of Reid's zoo field trip. This is not all of the pictures, but some of the best. Ritchie and I were in charge of Reid, Desiree (yes, the "girlfriend"), and another little girl Gracie. As you can see below, they all got along great!

Gracie, Reid, and Desiree looking at the old orangutan. His hair was sooo long! There was also a mother and baby in there.

Flamingos are Reid's teacher's favorite. She made it everyone's mission to get a picture with them and here it is!

Reid in the prairie dog hole.

Reid, Desiree, and Gracie taking a break. Ritchie was buying sno cones!

Desiree, me, Reid, and Gracie in front of the giraffes.

We had a great time that day, but we were exhausted! We all needed a nap when we got home!

Hellooooooo Desiree! Are you sure he's my nephew and not mine through some sinister delayed baby switching scheme at the hospital. Boy got game! Off today, working nights this weekend so Jacob is staying home with me. Going to get EB a dog of his very own today which he plans to name "fence dog". Don't know where that comes from. EB has been playing ball with a broken arm for the past couple of weeks. It should be about healed by now. Our trusty local hospital had told us in the ER it was fine. Two weeks later, a real doctor told us it was broken just below the shoulder. Scary thing, he never slowed down! A little wimper here and there but that's it. His uncle coach will be impressed by that! Call me sometime.
