This mother's day my husband and kids took me to Kemah. There is a nice little boardwalk there right on the ocean that is full of restaurants, little shops, rides, and games. It is a miniature version of what I imagine Coney Island to be like.
Luckily, we got there before the big crowd hit. It is a popular location! Of course, the first thing we did was eat. We got to eat at the aquarium. It is a neat little place to eat. You pay for atmosphere, but the kids loved it! Landon kept saying he wanted to ride the shark in the tank.
We played a few games and just walked around. Lines were getting too long for rides so we decided not to do that. Besides, it was turning into kid's day, not Mother's Day. Last thing we did was to go into Stingray Reef. The boys fed the stingrays and Reid was the only one who would touch them. It was pretty cool!
All in all, we had a good day. Our next trip is Schlitterbahn for Reid's birthday!!!
