Every year during the holidays one of our favorite things to do is watch the Charlie Brown specials. Last night it was time for the Great Pumpkin. We nearly missed it! I had forgotten that it was coming on.
We got home around 7:15 from football practice and had not had dinner yet. We were able to rewind back to the beginning of the show, thank goodness. Ritchie and I quickly made pizza sandwiches. I decided the best thing to do would be to get out the picnic blanket and have a picnic while watching the show. We had so much fun! Landon couldn't eat for watching the show! This is the first year they have all sat down for the full show to watch it. We danced and laughed and called Layne "Linus" because of his blue blanket. He was not happy about it! Reid said it one too many times and he turned to him with his eyebrows down and said, "It's not very blue! My blanket is blue AND white!" And there you go. Never underestimate the power of a boy and his favorite blanket.
