Today was the day for realignment. If you don't have a clue as to what that means you obviously don't work in a school. It means that every two years the UIL looks at the number of kids you have in your high school. Based on those numbers your school is A, AA, AAA, etc.
Unfortunately, we stayed AA and are now in one of the toughest districts. There are 8 teams, and Tatum is one of them. The were about 15 shy of being AAA. The numbers for AA are 195-414.
I'm scared!

It all has to do with who you compete with as far as sports and UIL academic events. Our high school has 201, grades 9-12. Tatum has 400, grades 9-12. We can't compete with them!
